Supporters of UCLA Football have less than 24 hours to wait for their team's final appearance of 2012, versus Baylor in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
The Bruins face the Bears at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Kickoff is scheduled at 6:45 p.m. Thursday Dec. 27. It will be the 35th edition of the Holiday Bowl.
UCLA enters the game at 9-4 as winners of the Pac 12 South Division, with two straight losses to Stanford. Baylor comes in at 7-5 with three consecutive victories, and finished fifth in the Big 12.
Tickets were still available Wednesday through Ticketmaster, at 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased at Qualcomm Stadium, Window F, on game day beginning at 9 a.m.
Bowl officials are expecting about 55,000 Thursday night at Qualcomm Stadium. They're urging fans attending the game to use the San Diego Trolley or carpool, and either way arrive early. Stadium parking opens at 11 a.m.
The Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl is scheduled to be televised on ESPN.
Baylor University, located in Waco, Texas, is alma mater of last year's Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.
