This Guy Bought a Winning $465K Ticket in Hollywood and Probably Doesn't Know It

If the man does not claim his prize by Nov. 18 it will be donated to Los Angeles public schools.

The man you see in the picture—let me start over.

The lucky man you see in the picture played Powerball on May 22 and matched five out of six numbers, missing only the Powerball number to win a $465,539 prize. But the man has not yet claimed his prize, California Lottery announced recently, so it released his photo in an effort to track him down.

The man bought the ticket at the Whitley Heights Market at 1900 North Highland Avenue in Hollywood. If the man does not claim his prize by Nov. 18 it will be donated to Los Angeles public schools.

The California Lottery began publicizing surveillance photos in 2012 of suspected winners whose valuable tickets are scheduled to expire and have so far tracked down three people who found out they had won through their photos being released to the media.

Marita and Bladimir Agnite claimed a $52 million prize on August 31, 2012, and Julie Cervera collected a $23 million prize in November.
