Hollywood's Priciest Homes: Artemesia

Every week, we feature one of the most expensive homes on the Hollywood real estate market.

Much like mega superstars who are known only by their first names ... Brad, Angelina, Beyonce ... this Hollywood property is so incredibly exclusive, it too, is referred only by one word -- "Artemesia" is her name and she can be yours for a cool $11,995,000.

Considered the largest and best Craftsman house ever built, this 13,290-square-foot home features 7 bedrooms, nearly two acres of wooded grounds with waterfalls, and the second-largest pipe organ in the country. The lucky person who ends up with this luxurious home will also enjoy amazing ocean views and a gigantic ballroom.

This secret celebrity pad is located on a gated private street in the Hollywood Hills, just above Paramount Studios and the W Hotel. The estate's address is not listed, so interested parties will need to contact the listing agency directly.

The property is listed by Keller Williams Beverly Hills, 310-432-6400. For more information, view the listing on AOL Real Estate.

The property is gated but the street, which is its main access, is not gated. Of course, it is physically impossible for any place to be "just above both Paramount Studios and the W Hotel," since Paramount is on Melrose just west of Wilton and the W Hotel is at Hollywood and Vine. I haven't been there in a long time, but I doubt that's the right house.

This massive Craftsman dwelling at 5771 Valley Oak Drive is the right house seen in the photo. The picture is correct. Perhaps the author of the article meant to speak more of the view from the house when referring to Paramount Studios and the W Hotel. This is a massive property with breathtaking views of much of the city. The 600 square foot guest house was on a web site a while ago for $1995 a month including utilities.
