Election Filing Period Open for Hollywood United Neighborhood Council
Candidates have through Aug. 17 to file papers.
Want to run for the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council?
The elected representatives advise the city on issues of concern to the neighborhood and decide how to distribute some discretionary spending for community activities.
A candidate information session will be held Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. at Hollywood Adventist Church, 1711 N. Van Ness Ave.

There are eight open seats with four-year terms. Elections will be held Sept. 16.
