Red flag parking restrictions for the hills will start at 8 a.m. Thursday and remain in effect through Friday at 8 a.m., according to an alert issued by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Restrictions are issued when weather conditions include wind speeds of 25 mph or more and humidity of 15 percent or less.
