2 Suspects Sought in Shooting Death in Hollywood

Authorities plan to release details Wednesday on the suspects linked to an apparently gang-related shooting at an April 17 party on North La Brea Avenue.

Police are seeking two suspects in connection with the shooting death of a man in an apparent gang-related attack at a Hollywood party April 17, authorities said.

Police are planning a news conference Wednesday to announce details of the suspects already in custody and the two they are still seeking.

Lorenzo Smith, a 22-year-old Los Angeles resident, was shot at a party in the 1600 block of North La Brea Avenue at about 3:10 a.m. on .

Smith died at the scene, police said. Another person was wounded, treated at the hospital and was expected to survive.

Since the shooting, numerous suspects have been arrested and two others are sought, said Officer Sara Faden of LAPD's Media Relations office.
