Non-Injury Fire Breaks Out in Hollywood

The fire was reported at 7:43 p.m. Saturday at 1912 N. Carmen Ave., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A non-injury fire broke out today at a Hollywood apartment and it was contained to one room, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 7:43 p.m. at 1912 N. Carmen Ave., according to Los Angeles fire information officer Brian Humphrey.

Arriving firefighters saw flames in a single room in the back of the two-story fourplex, Humphrey said.

It took 39 firefighters about 10 minutes to knock down the blaze, Humphrey said.
