Nick Stahl Freed Following Arrest at Hollywood Adult Store

The actor was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of misdemeanor lewd conduct charges.

Actor Nick Stahl was free on his own recognizance today following his arrest by LAPD vice officers in a Hollywood adult store.

Undercover officers conducting a routine sweep found Stahl alone in a private booth, watching a video and committing a "lewd act," shortly after 8 p.m., multiple celebrity websites reported. When confronted by a video crew outside the LAPD's Hollywood Station, the 33-year-old actor characterized his arrest as "a misunderstanding."

Stahl, 33, who played John Connor in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor lewd conduct charges and released a few hours later on his own recognizance, according to various reports.
