Man Stabbed in Hollywood, Police Seek Attacker

The incident was reported near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Ivar Avenue.

Los Angeles police were called to the scene where they found a man stabbed in the neck near Sunset Boulevard and Ivar Avenue around 2:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Officer Rosario Herrera said a man, approximately 30 years old, was found with a stab wound at the neck. The man was taken to a hospital, but his condition was unknown, said Officer Chris Lata.

The attacker was described as a 40-year-old man with salt and pepper hair, gold teeth, glasses and a backpack, Herrara said. Lata said the attacker fled the scene on a bicycle headed in an "unknown direction."
