Man Shot Outside Hollywood Supper Club ID'd

Keon Dontrell Collins of Inglewood was shot around 2 a.m. Sunday.

A man fatally shot outside a Hollywood club in what detectives believe was a gang-related attack was identified today as an Inglewood man.

Keon Dontrell Collins, 38, was shot about 2 a.m. Sunday outside the Premiere Supper Club on Las Palmas Avenue just north of Hollywood Boulevard, according to Los Angeles police and coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

A video of the shooting shows Collins walking south on La Palmas Avenue, approaching a car stopped at a light at Hollywood Boulevard, punching the driver in the face, then being shot in the torso by someone in the vehicle, according to ABC7.

Police were seeking three or four suspect in the vehicle, described as a black sedan last seen headed south on Las Palmas Avenue. Anyone with more information about the crime was urged to call homicide detectives at (213) 382- 9470, or (877) LAPD-247.
