Hollywood Man Reported Missing

Police are seeing a man who was last seen leaving Brier Oak On Sunset Sunday morning.

 A 53-year-old wheelchair-bound man with a mental capacity of a 12-year-old went missing from a medical center Sunday, and police sought the public's help locating the man.

Modesto Olmos was last seen leaving the Brier Oak On Sunset medical and rehabilitative center located at 5154 W. Sunset Blvd., according to Sgt. Mark Cohan of the Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Division.

Olmos was last seen leaving through the south entrance of the facility near De Longpre Avenue about 8:30 a.m., Cohan said.

The missing man receives kidney dialysis three times per week and is due to his next treatment Monday, Cohan said.

Olmos is Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 175 pounds with a medium build. He has black hair, brown eyes and medium complexion.

Olmos was last seen wearing a red long-sleeved polo shirt. Police said he has a friendly and talkative personality and likes fast food, especially hamburgers and French fries, but he has no money.
