Hollywood Man Arrested For Alleged Assault, Domestic Violence

Police find a man a day after a reported dispute on the 6100 block of Eleanor Ave.

Police Wednesday arrested a 22-year-old Hollywood man who got in a fight with his girlfriend and took off with three girls, all of whom were later found.

Allen Lynn Thomas, 22, was arrested somewhere along Western Avenue in South Los Angeles and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence, Officer Chris Lata said.

Two of the children, a 5-month-old and a 7-year-old, were dropped off at a fire station at Melrose Avenue and Oxford Street Tuesday afternoon, and a 5- year-old was found in Long Beach.

Thomas was believed to be the father of the 5-year-old, but not the other two children.

About 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were sent to an apartment in the 6100 block of Eleanor Avenue on a report of a dispute. Police surrounded the house, believing Thomas to be holed up inside, but had already taken the children and fled.
