Hollywood Kidnap, Robbery Suspects Sought by LAPD

Police are looking for four suspects, who are wanted in connection for a crime committed on July 23.

Los Angeles police are looking for four people suspected in a kidnapping and robbery that occurred late last month. 

The incident occurred at around 4 p.m. on July 23 in the 8000 block of Carlton Way, according to Officer Bruce Borihanh of the Los Angeles Police Department.

"The victim told investigators that a white Chevy van stopped alongside his vehicle and three suspects emerged from the van and kidnapped the victim," Borihanh said. "After some time, the suspects drove to a gas station where money was exchanged and the victim was released."

According to a press release from the LAPD, the suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect-1 is only described as a male, no further description.  
  • Suspect-2 is a described as a male, possible Hispanic.  
  • Suspect-3 is described as male Hispanic, 40 to 45 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 180-185 pounds (see composite sketch).  
  • Suspect-4 was the driver; no description.  

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
