Hiker Suffers Serious Injuries After Fall in Griffith Park

The woman is transported to an area hospital.

A 32-year-old woman suffered serious injuries over the weekend during a fall while hiking in Griffith Park, a fire official said.

The woman fell while hiking Saturday near the Hollywood sign near Mt. Lee, west of Griffith Park, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

Paramedics dispatched to the scene at 10:10 a.m. transported the woman to an area hospital with serious injuries, Scott said.
