  • Why Go: This carnival-themed fundraiser, hosted by the Hollywood Community Housing Corporation, will raise money for affordable housing for disabled and low-income families.

MARIACHI FESTIVAL

  • Why Go: The 34th annual Mariachi USA Festival will showcase five of the top mariachi groups from here in the United States as well as in Mexico.

MIDNIGHT MADNESS

FRINGE FAMILY AT HOLLYWOOD FRINGE

  • Where/When: Fringe Central Station, 6314 Santa Monica Blvd, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday
  • Why Go: Kids of all ages can enjoy magic shows, balloon art, face painting and more at this family-friendly event. Performers will also entertain them with African folktales, a music show and a puppet show.
