Neon Venus Jr. Theatre: Hansel & Gretel
Neon Venus Jr. Theatre trains young performers to understand the actor's process from auditions, to the creation of believable and sustainable characters, to the final performance. Performers ages 5-15 hone their acting technique while exploring story lines, characters, dialogue, and movement; fostering a deeper understanding of the theatrical elements involved in putting on a live performance. Performances are enhanced by props, costumes, lights and all the theatre magic we can create. All roles will be auditioned at the first rehearsal. 8-Week Session (Jan. 22 – Mar. 14) Tu/Th 3-5:30; Participants 5-8yrs. old rehearse 3-4:15PM only; Performance Sat., March 16 @5:30PM
About the Program:
Neon Venus Jr. Theatre is a non-profit theatre program that is made possible through grant funding and private charitable donations. The program is free to LA County youth ages 5-15. Each production allows for 15 auditioned slots.
