Thursday's Report: Exclusively Hollywood

Sunshine, two neighborhood groups meet and Police Chief Charlie Beck hosts a religious community forum.

1. Weather: Hollywood will be sunny, with a high near 63 degrees. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 44 degrees, according to the National Weather Service

2. Lowest gas prices: The cheapest gas in Hollywood, as of Wednesday night, is $3.29 a gallon at the Arco gas station, at 6100 Franklin Avenue and Gower Street, according to LosAngelesGasPrices.com.

3. The Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council. Tonight the HHWNC will meet at 6:30 p.m. tonight to cover a variety of community issues at the Will & Ariel Durant Library, at 7140 W. Sunset Blvd.

4. The Beachwood Canyon Neighborhood Association. Tonight the BCNC will discuss polling locations and are looking for additional poll workers for the upcoming March election. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Village Coffee shop, at 2695 N Beachwood Dr.

5. A Religious Community Forum. LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck will join other city officials and representatives tonight from Muslim, Jewish, and Christian churches for a dialogue on religious issues in the community. Those wishing to attend should RSVP with Sgt. Darrell Davis, at 213-485-4316. The meeting starts at 6 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, at 1760 N. Gower St.
