Temps Warming Up For a Few Days

An offshore breeze will pump up temperatures in the Los Angeles Basin to the lower 80s.

Look for a quick warm-up today and temperatures well above normal through the middle of next week.

An offshore breeze will pump up temperatures in the Los Angeles Basin to the lower 80s, with temperatures near the coast possibly higher than in the valleys.

The wind will be mostly out of the east today at about 15 mph, then coming from the northeast tonight and Sunday, ushering in a stretch of clear skies and above normal temperatures.

The normal high for downtown Los Angeles this time of year is about 71 degrees.

Overnight lows, however, are forecast to dip into the 40s across the region.
