Summer Concert Season Begins at Hollywood Bowl
Harry Connick Jr. and Gloria Estefan kick things off tonight.
A summer tradition for many Angelenos kicks off tonight at the Hollywood Bowl. Drivers should plan for delays while in the area because there are sure to be some traffic snags.
Grammy- and Emmy-winning singer-musician-actor Harry Connick Jr. and Grammy-winning singer Gloria Estefan will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame and then perform at the Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl.
Academy Award-winning actress Hilary Swank will be Connick's presenter as he is inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Oscar- and Emmy-winning actress Dame Helen Mirren will be the host of
Opening Night at the Bowl.
The evening will also include a preview of Cirque du Soleil's first resident production in Los Angeles, IRIS — A Journey Through the World of Cinema, which is scheduled to open July 21 at the Kodak Theatre.
