Label any box you’re packing with what’s in it and which room it is meant to go to, for example plates and cups will be marked on the box along with the kitchen.
If you are packing up plates then make sure you pack them in a vertical manor. Not only will it save items being broken but it will also make it easier to unpack the plates.
If you purchase some stretch wrap from a box store you can use it to wrap up cupboards and boxes to stop them opening during the move. Most movers will also have this to help you with the packing.
