What's Moving Into Shin BBQ?

A notice of an application to sell alcoholic drinks is posted on the window of the vacant building.

The last couple days I've noticed a bit of activity in the former space of Shin BBQ at Wilcox and Selma avenues.

On Wednesday there was quite a set-up of a film shoot on that block. On Thursday morning on my way to grab some coffee, there was a notice of an application to sell alcoholic beverages posted on the window.

The applicant is listed as Prestige Worldwide Enterprises, but the business name was left blank. What's with the mystery?

Curbed L.A. is reporting that restaurateur David Reiss, who is behind establishments like The Brig, A-Frame and Sunny Spot, has inked a deal to take the spot.

Patch will keep an eye out for more information on plans for the building.
