Tinhorn Flats Hollywood Touts Grand Opening Celebration on North Highland
Event organizers will offer complementary appetizers, 2-for-1 beer and cocktail specials, and a raffle for Tinhorn Flats gift certificates, pint glasses and t-shirts.
The new Tinhorn Flats in Hollywood is touting a grand opening celebration, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday March 27, featuring a cowboy on stilts and a lasso performance at Highland and Yucca.
Event organizers will offer complementary appetizers, 2-for-1 beer and cocktail specials, and a raffle for Tinhorn Flats gift certificates, pint glasses and t-shirts. There's a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. officiated by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Ownership of the new business at 1724 N. Highland Ave., Suite 100 previously announced its opening in late January.

The first Tinhorn Flats Saloon & Grill was established in Burbank in 1939, according to ownership.
The restaurants are known for their selection of cheeseburgers. Examples include "Drive Thru Style" with ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions and cheddar, and "Mushroom Bleu" with sautéed mushrooms and dry blue cheese.

Tinhorn Flats is open for lunch and dinner 11 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday; 11-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday.
