Producer Ted Field and his company Radar Pictures are developing a film about Hollywood's Magic Castle.
The mansion, built in 1909, could get the same treatment as other notable venues starring in movies like Disney's The Haunted Mansion and Fox's Night at the Museum, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Details were not available as to how far the concept is in the development process.
The private nightclub, which has been in operation since 1963, is not open to the public and guests must be invited by a member. It is home to the nonprofit Academy of Magical Arts Inc.
Additionally, Magic Castles Inc., which controls the club's intellectual property has signed with the Creative Artists Agency for representation.
The talent agency will represent the Magic Castle for opportunities in television, film, live events, video games digital media and merchandising.
The property was damaged in fire last Oct. 31, which prompted a closure through November and fully re-opened in February.
