Hollywood's 'Moment' Will Come on Feb. 1

In a town that's filled with plenty of glitz and glamour, Hollywood will truly experience a moment unlike any other come February 1, 2013.

That is when The Moment, Sunset Boulevard's newest boutique hotel, plans to officially open its doors to the public. 

“We believe The Moment brings something new and interesting to the Hollywood scene – it is intimate and features a strong design aesthetic; that is not something you usually see in a hotel of this size," explains Dev Dugal, vice president of sales and marketing at broughtonHOTELS, which manages the Hollywood Investment Group-owned hotel.  "Whether someone has just traveled a day from Europe or is just in for the night from San Francisco, they will feel our welcoming attitude the minute they enter the doors.” 

Designed using sloped and slanted walls to portray the feeling of motion and movement, the hotel will be set on Guitar Row across from the famed Guitar Center. With unobstructed views of the Hollywood Hills, The Moment has only 39 guest rooms and one suite – providing a sleek and intimate space for business or leisure travelers in search of a stylish and distinctive experience.

Each of the guest rooms feature an urban design with accent walls painted orange, green or purple. All rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions, over-sized glass showers and unique graphics over the bed. Guests can also check out The Moment Deck & Bar, which offers a bar and lounge-like atmosphere located at the front of the hotel with views of the hills and Sunset Boulevard. The hotel will have 24-hour room service and feature an intimate dining area for breakfast, lunch and dinner.     

"Guests will be encouraged to explore their surroundings and create their own unique, individual moments – whether it is enjoying chilled Sangria on the hotel’s 2000 square-foot deck overlooking Sunset Blvd. or walking across the street to explore the famous guitars adorning the walls of the Guitar Center or taking in the sights and sounds of the Hollywood experience," according to hotel management.
