Hollywood Farmers' Market Seeks Dog Sitters

Those with businesses are welcome to apply.

The popular Hollywood Farmers' Market is filled to capacity where vendors are concerned, but there is one thing lacking: a dog sitting booth.

Hollywood Farmers' Market Manager Alexandra Agajanian said having one is a priority considering how many of the market’s customers have pets.

“The Health Department will not allow us to have any dogs or pets in the market,” Agajanian said. “It would allow customers to bring their pets while they shop.”

The Hollywood Farmers' Market currently has more than 100 farmers, 45 food vendors and more than 25 artisans, according to Agajanian.

Any dog sitters interested in applying would need to own their own dog-sitting business and have insurance, Agajanian said.
