Frog Frozen Yogurt Is Ready for Business

The shop will host a grand opening party on Sunday.

You may have noticed that a new frozen yogurt shop has settled into the Cahuenga Corridor next to Stout Burger.

Frog, short for FRozen yOGurt,  seems to have been in soft opening for the past month or so. Peeking inside, we've seen flickering lights and thought it interesting— a froyo shop that feels like a chic/modern/urban lounge. So Hollywood.

A grand opening party is planned for Sunday, April 1 from 3 to 11 p.m.

If you haven't stopped in yet, you should know that Frog offers 10 rotating flavors that include vegan, non-fat, dairy-free, gluten-free and low to no sugar frozen yogurt.

Owner Damien Breen decided to open the shop on the corner of Cahuenga and Selma to give the neighborhood a healthy sweet alternative in an area full of burger restaurants and late-night eateries, according to a news release.

Every quarter the shop will spotlight local artists and screen print their designs on clothing to be sold in the store and online with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting a charity of the artist's choice. In March, Frog partnered with American Apparel that will donate 400 t-shirts with screen prints designed by Restitution Press to feedLAnow.org.

The shop is open from noon to around 4 a.m. (last call). It is located at 1550 Cahuenga Blvd. Phone: 323-462-3764. Website: www.ilovefrog.com. Twitter: @FrogHollywood.
