Margaret Pellegrini, who played the flower pot Munchin and one of the sleepy head kids in the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, died this morning around 7 a.m. near her home in Phoenix, according to the Madison County Courier and other media outlets.

At 1 p.m., flowers will be placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Pelligrini's "Munchkins" star at 6915 Hollywood Blvd., according to City News Service.
