Summer Jazz Series Ends Tuesday at Hollywood & Highland

Tonight's featured performer is the Hot 8 Brass Band.

The Wine, Jazz & Moonlight Summer Concert Series will end its 13-week summer season at the Hollywood & Highland Center Tuesday night with a performance by Hot 8 Brass Band.

The concert from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. held in the central courtyard includes a choice of wine and selected cheeses prepared by Wolfgang Puck Catering for $10. Admission is free.

Proceeds from the wine bar benefit Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization that delivers free and nutritious meals to men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses.

Since the series' inception, the Hollywood & Highland Center and sponsor kjazz 88.1 FM have raised nearly $230,000 for Project Angel Food.

Hot 8 Brass Band didn't play. Couldn't get flight because of Hurricane Issac. Story is wrong and old.
