VALARIE PETTIFORD IN CONCERT- An Evening of Singing, Dancing and Storytelling
Tony-nominated star of stage and screen, Valarie Pettiford, celebrates the release of her second solo album with a one-night only celebratory concert at The Renberg Theater in Los Angeles. First making a name for herself as Bob Fosse’s principal dancer and later dance captain, she then earned a Tony nomination for her leading role in the Broadway production of Fosse, a show honoring her mentor. Since her first days on Broadway, Pettiford has starred in television and film alike in such hits as Half and Half, Jumping the Broom, Why Did I Get Married 2, and Bunheads. About to release her second solo album, Pettiford continues to secure her status as a true triple threat performer. This latest project, “Velvet Sky”, is a collection of original lullabies which are astoundingly beautiful and tender. Come hear Valarie Pettiford for yourself on September 16th- it will be a night to remember!
