25-Cent Movie Series at Grauman's Chinese Theatre to Start April 23

Theater is delaying originally announced start date due to conflicts with other screenings and a premiere.

Grauman's Chinese Theatre is delaying the start of the 25-cent classic movie series it had originally announced would start today and run every Monday in April.

The series, which the theater is presenting in celebration of its 85th anniversary, will now start on Monday, April 23. The change in dates was prompted by screenings of Wrath of the Titans the next two Mondays and a premiere on April 16, according to the venue's Facebook page.

Here's the posted announcement:

Sorry for the delay and the confusion about the 25-Cent Classic Movie Mondays! We will be launching it on April 23. The reason for the delay is that we have Wrath of Titans showing in Grauman's the next two Mondays and a great premiere on April 16! So the first 25-Cent Classic Movie Monday will be April 23. We are working on a fabulous line up of films and will let you know as soon as everything is confirmed! Thanks for your patience and your enthusiasm!
