Hollywood Black Film Festival Aims to Please
The 13th annual event featured something for everyone.
The Hollywood Black Film Festival attracted crowds and celebrities to Hollywood over the weekend.
The 13th annual event, which took place at the W Hollywood Hotel, featured screenings of movies, including Winnie Mandela, the documentary, "Step Up," and "Frat Brothers."
A host of workshops were also held and included "How to Produce and Distribute Films on Any Budget," "Creating Content for the New Digital Hollywood" and "The Impact of Science Fiction on New Technology."
The film festival wrapped up on Sunday night with a screening of the film, "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete," produced by singer Alicia Keys and starring singers Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks.
