The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The fire occurred just south of Arrowhead Drive, northeast of the Lake Hollywood reservoir and near Lake Hollywood Park. The area is known as a popular spot for viewing the Hollywood sign.

Firefighters will be on the scene for several hours to ensure no embers reignite the brush, Scott said.
