The Chase Bank branch near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue is hosting a mixer next week for business owners and business professionals.
The branch, which opened last November in the building formerly owned by Blockbuster, is anxious to reach out to the community by hosting the event, according to Chase business banker Vanessa Ramos.
"It’s a way to give back,” Ramos said. “It’s a really nice branch."

While the free mixer will focus on business owners and professionals, it is open to the general public, according to Ramos. It is also open to people who have no affiliation to Chase Bank.
The business mixer will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at 7833 West Sunset Blvd.
