The council oversees all area neighborhood councils, including the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council, the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council, the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council and the Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood council. CHNC was certified by the Los Angeles Board of Neighborhood Commissioners on April 9, 2002.
