The Hollywood Heritage Museum sits in the Lasky-De Mille Barn, across from the Hollywood Bowl on Highland Avenue. TheMore barn was built in 1895, and the Hollywood Heritage Society took it over in 1985. The society funds the preservation, maintenance and acquisition of memorabilia in the site, which was designated a California State Historic Landmark in 1956. Pieces include photographs, movie props and production documents, as well as photos and postcards of Hollywood itself from the twenties and thirites.
