<p>The church was established in 1903 by the Rev. Dr. Henry Newell and his wife, Lizzie. Today it is led by pastor Dan Baumgartner. Church events include the foster- and adoptive-family picnic, weekly intercessory prayer and the Good and Beautiful Life Dinner. </p>
<p>The church also sponsors international missionary work to Africa and the Middle East. Services are offered in English and Spanish. </p>

The Actors Co-Op is housed in a large-frame building with a gated parking lot and security on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood.
