Founded in 1903, the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood has been a Hollywood landmark ever since. The church isMore located close to the 101 Freeway and has a dedicated parking lot just across the street. It has a children's choir and Sunday school is also available. The church offers the opportunity for one-on-one prayer following most services. The church also holds a "Classic Service" as well, which seeks to fulfill tradition and features a Cathedral Choir. The church also hosts fun community events, including "Movie Time.

First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood is a massive complex located at the intersection of Gower Street and CarlosMore Avenue. The church grounds take up the entire block and include three chapels, a theater, a school and a trio of parking lots.</p> <p>The church was established in 1903 by the Rev. Dr. Henry Newell and his wife, Lizzie. Today it is led by pastor Dan Baumgartner. Church events include the foster- and adoptive-family picnic, weekly intercessory prayer and the Good and Beautiful Life Dinner.  </p> <p>The church also sponsors international missionary work to Africa and the Middle East. Services are offered in English and Spanish. </p>

Actors Co-Op

The Actors Co-Op is a theater troop of Christian actors that promotes spiritually among members while pursuingMore theatrical excellence. The theater group performs in the 99-seat Crossley Theatre. Productions include "A Christmas Carol," "King Lear" and "The Traveling Lady." Ticket prices range from $10 to $30. The Actors Co-Op is housed in a large-frame building with a gated parking lot and security on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood.
