YOU KNOW, I'M GAY BUT I PREFER TO LEAVE STUFF LIKE "WEDDINGS" OUT OF THE GRAMMY'S MUSICRead More SCENE. IT DOESN'T BELONG THERE. THE MORE YOU SHOVE THIS SO CALLED "TOLERANCE" THING IN EVERYONE'S FACES, THE MORE BACKLASH THERE WILL BE. STOP MAKING EVERYTHING POLITICIAL ALREADY! THERE ARE A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF GAY PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO DON'T REALLY CARE FOR IT.

One day the Chamber might consider attracting a name with enough gravitas to attract the media'sRead More attention. The industry should get behind this parade in an effort to help the launch of the new Academy museum due to open in 2017. What kind of an industry ignores its own collective promotion? It's not like there is a shortage of promotional talent, or big names in Hollywood.

Too little too late..A drop in the bucket. The Entertainment Industry was lost while he sat asRead More council President for years. This is a Token gesture, just like his selecting 40!! streets of L.A. to be repaired. All garcetti PR to lull people into thinking he is working for everyone. Give us a break. He was so busy selling Hollywood to developers like his big funder , Millennium, getting his higher density ILLEGAL Hollywood Community Plan passed to accommodate their mega projects, and then declaring he is creating jobs jobs jobs. What jobs?? Maybe all the out of work Entertainment Industry Professionals he put out of work by losing our industry, (he and his buddy, Villaraigosa), should morph into Hotel Housekeepers to get in on these jobs jobs jobs that his mega developer projects are creating! He is not fooling anyone.

It certainly appears to be tokenism. There are some real changes that are necessary to make TV andRead More film production in Los Angeles easier. People inside the industry who know the logistics and nitty gritty speak about out-dated rules requiring removal of trucks and long drives each day to and from the sites, but I am not the one with the expertise. We need facts -- from people who work in the business and not just the producers.
