Griffith Observatory is a historic museum and educational complex located at Griffith Park. It offers numerous exhibits and public telescopes and provides entertaining and educational programs at a 300-seat planetarium. The site was used for scenes in the classic James Dean film, “Rebel Without A Cause.”
