This famous outdoor venue was built in the 1920's and is a national landmark. The Ford Amphitheater is owned and operated by Los Angeles County and is home to music, dance, theater and film events. The Ford grounds open two hours before an event so theater patrons can have catered meals and wine while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Hollywood Hills. Climb the stairs to the theater grounds and you'll find a landscaped courtyard with round metal tables and wooden stools. The Ford Amphitheater main stage has a seating capacity of 1241. The intimate state-of-the art indoor venue, Inside The Ford, has a seating capacity of 87 and is open during the November - May theater season. Inside The Ford is the perfect place to see LA based theater companies perform classic and original plays. To become a member of the Ford Amphitheater or for more information visit the website.
