Bonhams & Butterfields Showroom and Auction House is  near the corner of Sunset Boulevard and North Curson Avenue. As a leading fine art auctioneer, B&B's has sold fine art, furniture, jewelry and wine since William Butterfield turned in his sheriff's badge and six-shooter for an auctioneer gavel and conducted the first sale in 1865. Since then, B&B's has grown and diversified to become a leading art business, having sales in more than 80 categories, including all areas of the fine and decorative arts, jewelry, fine wines and collectibles. While it is famous for selling works of art for record-breaking prices, many of the items offered are very affordable. Auctions are open to the public.
