46 Mothers to Get Heads Shaved for Childhood Cancer Research

Sunday's event is aimed at raising $1 million.

Mothers from around the nation—46 of them, to be precise—will get their heads shaved Sunday in expectations of raising $1 million in funds for childhood cancer research.

Proceeds will go to the St. Baldrick's Foundation for childhood cancer research.

Several celebrities are expected to attend—among them actors Jason George (Grey's Anatomy), Andrea Roth (Rescue Me), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad).

This will be the third such annual event organized by a group called 46 Mommas: Shave for the Brave.

Head shaving are scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m. outside the , 6801 Hollywood Blvd.
