Man Promised To Shoot Pedestrian If He Got 100 Retweets and Posted Photo of Air Rifle in Sniper Position

Los Angeles, Calif. – A 20-year-old man accused of posting photos on Twitter showing a rifle pointed toward streets, each with the caption "'100 RT's (Re-Tweets) and i'll shoot someone walking," was behind arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats.

Twitter has removed suspect Dakkari Mcanuff's account. But L.A. Weekly captured some of them cached. 

Mcanuff was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, after police learned of his Twitter account, authorities said.

Officers took Mcanuff into custody at his residence in the 700 block of Ninth Street, where an air rifle was discovered, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

He was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, police said.
