Hollywood High Celebrity Pancake Breakfast

  • Where/When: Hollywood High School, 1521 N. Highland Ave., Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Why go: Get your fill of breakfast with all you can eat pancakes and support the Hollywood High School Performing Arts Magnet. Proceeds will fund this year's productions. Actor Sean Kanan, of The Bold and The Beautiful will be among this year's celebrities serving breakfast.
  • Cost: $5 per person

Autry Farmers Market Health Fair

  • Where/When: Autry National Center, 4700 Western Heritage Way, Saturday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Why go: The fair includes free health screenings, fitness tips, activities for the kids, prizes and giveaways.
  • Cost: Free

Cat & Fiddle Anniversary Party

  • Where/When: Cat & Fiddle, 6530 Sunset Blvd, Saturday, 7 p.m. - midnight
  • Why go: Neighborhood restaurant Cat & Fiddle celebrates its 30th anniversary with an '80s-themed anniversary bash. There will be complimentary cake and champagne, music, food specials, limited edition Cat & Fiddle T-shirts, original 1982 buttons, anniversary pint glasses and more.
  • Cost: No cover

Cookbook Fundraiser Supports Local Students

  • Where/When: Wonderland Elementary, 8510 Wonderland Ave., Saturday, 3-6 p.m.
  • Why go: Support the school's gardening program, From The Ground Up, with a $50 donation during an afternoon event with celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis and receive an autographed cookbook. There will be free food, live music and more.
  • Cost: Free

Spirit of Old Hollywood Salon

  • Where/When: The American Legion Hollywood Post, 2035 N. Highland Ave., Sunday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
  • Why go: Join the Hollywood Arts Council for an evening of "spirited" cocktails, small bites, live music and a silent auction. Psychic Patti Negri will be leading guests on ghost tours around the historic property. Film noir attire is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Cost: $35 per person, includes one year's membership to the Hollywood Arts Council.
