The 2011 TV Summit

The television industry is rapidly evolving to cater to the multiplying ways that viewers are now watching programming. Variety and ATAS Foundation's TV Summit aims to make sense of the changes within all aspects of this business, spanning broadcast/cable channels; cable/satellite/telco providers; the production/showrunner community; and such emerging players as Google TV, Apple TV, Hulu.com and Netflix.

As people move to watch TV whenever and wherever they want – through smartphones, tablets, computers and other platforms – traditional advertising revenue models are disrupted. The TV Summit will help identify ways for the industry to continue to make quality content and be a vibrant money-making business at the same time.
