Karina Smirnoff to Heat UP BEARPAW Summer Blase on Melrose

LOS ANGELES, August 9, 2011 - Karina Smirnoff from Dancing With the Stars
will be appearing at the BEARPAW Summer Blast on Melrose

Alyeska and Capulet boots she's designed with the brand. The day-long event
takes place at the flagship store of indie sneaker retailer SportieLA."This
will be an all-day sun-soaked party bursting with BEARPAW culture," said VP
Marketing Randy McKinley, "great food and beverages, VIP fans of the brand
stopping by, heaps of fun, and amazing one-time-only deals on BEARPAW boots
and shoes for the whole family."The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Smirnoff will be signing autographs from 2-4 p.m., as well as unveiling the
new Capulet and hosting a raffle benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of
Hollywood. Kids for the Boys & Girls Club will be participating in a BEARPAW
art contest, to be judged by Smirnoff.Customers can work up an appetite with
on site activities before hitting the food trucks and grabbing cold drinks
provided by Neuro, and Jarritos, which will also be bringing their DJ and
the famed "Jarritos Girls." There will be a BBQ from 12-5 p.m. Coupons for
Booya's Frozen Yogurt will be included with purchases so customers can
celebrate their new shoes with a sweet treat next door. 

Kelly Czarnecki (Survivor: Gabon), Bridgetta Tomarchio (Californication,
Entourage), and actress, talk show host, and self-proclaimed shoe fanatic
Lorielle New (Grindhouse, The Practice) will also be stopping by to check
out the sale and show their support as fans of the brand. Brand ambassador
Simon Rawley-Wells will be on hand to cover the event for BEARPAWtv.
