Have you cast your ballot for the 2012 election?
Hollywood's Fire Station 27 at 1327 Cole Avenue was full of more than a dozen voters around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
A section of the garage was a designated polling place while firetrucks served as a backdrop for voters.
Chris Williams, was among those waiting in the line. He told Patch it was the presidential election that drew him to the polls.
"It's too close of a race this year," Williams said.
"If you don't vote, you don't have a right complain," he added.
Hollywood tour guide Philip Mershon shared on Hollywood Patch's Facebook page that the line at his polling place, Le Conte Junior High, went quickly.
"Yeah a little too smoothly," Mershon wrote. "There weren't many folks there when I got there!"
