Mountain Oak Drive Home Expansion Up For Discussion at PLUM Meeting Thursday

The Hollywood United Neighborhood Council Planning and Land Use Management committee meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

The Hollywood United Neighborhood Council will be holding its monthly Planning and Land Use Management committee (PLUM) meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m

According to the agenda, the meeting will discuss 2240 Mountain Oak Drive. The project is described as an 803 sq. ft. addition to a 1642 sq. ft. existing home.

The PLUM committee stated in the agenda they cannot currently support the expansion but has made recommendations to improve the project including “the scale of the front façade could benefit by decreasing the amount of second floor area, varying the setback of the front wall, introducing more windows, a variety of building materials and landscaped areas. A decreased second floor area could be made up on the lowest level, and benefit from direct access to the backyard.”
