Assemblyman Mike Feuer, who represents the 42nd District, is hosting an open house Thursday night.
He invites constituents to an in-depth look at issues facing California in 2012, as well as potential solutions.
Donations of canned goods and toiletries will benefit JFS SOVA Community Food & Resource Program.
There will be a special performance by the Fairfax High School Band.
Light refreshments will be provided by local restaurants.
