95 L.A. Neighborhood Councils to Gather for Congress of Neighborhoods

The free event will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 28 at City Hall

The Congress of Neighborhoods, in conjunction with the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, will be gathering on Sept. 28 for their annual meeting. 

The free event, which includes breakfast, lunch, workshops and more, will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Los Angeles City Hall. Click here to register for the event.

Workshops include Meet Your City Officials, How Neighborhood Councils Work and Developing Leadership Skills for Board Members. 

Los Angeles has 95 certified neighborhood councils including the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council, Greater Echo Park Elysian Valley Neighborhood Council, Hollywood United Neighborhood Council and Hollywood Dell Civic Association.
