A motorist was to be booked for suspected DUI following an early morning crash in Hollywood Saturday, police officials said.
The crash was reported at 6464 Sunset Blvd. shortly after 4 a.m., a Los Angeles police watch commander told Patch.
Though the motorist was unhurt, officials said the building may have been rendered unstable.
However, the owner of the building, Brian Folb, told Patch that there was superficial damage to the outside of the edifice and some broken glass but it remained structurally sound.
"We are estimating the damages to be in the range of $250K," Folb wrote Patch in an email.
The driver was to be booked for alleged DUI, the sergeant told Patch.
